Remote Full-stack Software Engineer

Description:

• Appfire is seeking a Full-stack Software Engineer to join the Deviators team in building solutions for complex problems.
• The role involves being part of a self-organizing, cross-functional product team consisting of 5 Software Engineers, a Product Manager, UX Designer, and Team Lead.
• Responsibilities include working on successful products, contributing to decisions about the future of products and Appfire, and following best engineering practices like automated testing and code reviews.
• The position emphasizes promoting simplicity, helping team members, and being proactive in suggesting and implementing improvements.
• The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience with front-end and back-end web technologies, a willingness to learn and use multiple technologies, and a strong engineering approach to problem-solving.
• Additionally, a good understanding of modern Cloud architectures, SQL, relational databases, and English proficiency at level B2 or higher is required.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frontend frameworks and NoSQL DBs is considered an advantage.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with front-end and back-end web technologies (e.g. JEE, Node.js, React, Vue.js).
• Willingness to learn and use multiple technologies (frontend and backend).
• Strong theoretical foundations of computer science and good understanding of modern Cloud architectures.
• Architectural understanding of web applications, including performance, quality, and security aspects.
• Good grasp of SQL and relational databases.
• Command of English at level B2 or higher.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frontend frameworks and NoSQL DBs is an advantage.
