Remote Full-Stack Software Engineer, Growth and Revenue at Houzz

Description:

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will collaborate with revenue product teams to develop and expand subscription services and features for enhancing the membership experience on Houzz Pro.
You will work with technologies such as React, Node.js, GraphQL, PHP, Java, Python, AWS, GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, MySQL, Redis, Javascript, and CSS.
Responsibilities include working across engineering, product, and design teams, creating web applications, enhancing backend microservices, debugging and improving existing systems, and building features for various parts of the web application.
The role offers the opportunity to work in a startup environment with the support of a larger organization.

Proficiency in web stack programming, from schema design to building user-facing interfaces.
Proficiency in web application programming including OOP, PHP, and Javascript.
Understanding of algorithms, distributed systems, and microservice architecture.
A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Independence, self-direction, and experience owning complete products and features.
Comfort working on fast-paced, data-driven projects.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases, Solr, 3rd party system integration like Salesforce, and developing payment systems in the fintech area.
At least 3 years of experience.

Annual starting salary range of $140,000 - $165,000.
