Remote Full Stack Software Engineer (iGaming/Online Casino)

Description:

• We are an innovative company at the forefront of the iGaming and online casino industry, dedicated to providing seamless, secure, and engaging experiences for our users.
• We’re seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer with expertise in iGaming and deep knowledge of modern web technologies to join our engineering team.
• This position is for 40 hours of work per week, including some Saturday and Sunday hours and some hours that do not overlap with a New York City time zone.
• Ideally, this person is based in Eastern Europe, Asia, or Australia.
• The position is fully remote.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop new features and improve existing functionality for our iGaming platform.
• The engineer will develop RESTful APIs and serverless applications using Node.js and AWS CDK.
• They will optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability using ReactJS and NextJS.
• The role involves implementing modern UI/UX practices with TailwindCSS to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing front-end interfaces.
• The engineer will integrate and maintain databases using Prisma with PostgreSQL.
• They will manage and deploy applications on AWS services, including RDS with PostgreSQL, EC2, ECS Fargate, and Lambda functions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and other technical issues is also part of the job.
• Maintaining code quality through peer reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing is essential.
• Familiarity with real-time data processing and live casino game mechanics is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in the online casino industry.
• Proficiency in ReactJS, NextJS, and TailwindCSS for front-end development is required.
• Strong experience with Node.js and AWS CDK for back-end development is necessary.
• Hands-on expertise with Prisma for database interaction, specifically PostgreSQL, is essential.
• Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2, and ECS Fargate, is required.
• A solid understanding of secure coding practices, especially relevant to online casino platforms, is necessary.
• Candidates must have the ability to architect scalable and maintainable codebases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders are required.
