Description:

Spekit is a remote position for a Full Stack Software Engineer (React/Python) based in Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Latin America, Chile, or Peru.

The role involves solidifying core Spekit building blocks and improving user experience to integrate Spekit into daily work.
The engineer will build and test features end-to-end, support production systems, and collaborate on architectural design and development processes.

The position requires working in MST - EST time zones.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 4+ years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in Python, including Django, Django-Rest, and Dramatiq, as well as PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ is required.
Experience with React is essential.
A test-first mindset with experience writing unit tests for both Django and React applications is necessary.
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including SOLID principles and design patterns, are required.
Experience in building and scaling web applications for broad audiences is needed.
Candidates should demonstrate tenacity in finding simple solutions and the ability to communicate a vision effectively.
A willingness to work through unexpected roadblocks and leave improvements for others is essential.
A desire to create a product that end users love is crucial.

The salary range for this position is $2,500 - $4,400 a month, depending on job-related knowledge, location, skills, and expertise.
