Remote Full Stack Software Engineer Senior (Java, Angular)

Description:

• Collaborate with an Agile team to deliver commitments in a predictable manner with expected quality
• Design and develop applications for processing transactions used by Worldpay teams
• Migrate legacy applications from On-premise infrastructure to the cloud
• Ensure product quality through unit tests, performance benchmarking, documentation, and training material
• Work closely with developers, quality assurance analysts, and business stakeholders to maintain system integrity
• Provide production support and ensure software maintenance
• Possess a can-do attitude and a sense of responsibility for software engineering implications
• Proficient in Java programming and familiar with front-end languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular)
• Ability to develop applications on the Cloud and practice good coding techniques
• Attention to detail, creative mindset, and awareness of Test-Driven Development
• Experience with RDBMS, SQL language, Java application servers, unit testing, build and deployment processes, software design patterns, web application, and web services architectures
• Devops mindset with full life cycle ownership
• Bonus: Experience with containerized applications, messaging systems, microservices architecture, and software design patterns

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Computer Engineering
• 1-5% travel required
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language
• Familiarity with front-end languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular)
• Ability to develop applications on the Cloud
• Experience with RDBMS, SQL language, Java application servers, unit testing, build and deployment processes
• Devops mindset with willingness to own the full life cycle
