Description:
CodePath is seeking a Full Stack Tech Fellow for a summer contract in San Francisco, California.
The Tech Fellow will play a crucial role in supporting students throughout the program by providing hands-on assistance during lessons, lab sessions, and project design.
Responsibilities include assisting the instructional team, classroom management, and administrative tasks.
The Tech Fellow will need to be available for training from May 6 - 31, 2024, and for the program from June 3 - August 9, 2024.
Key activities involve facilitating technical lessons on web development, troubleshooting student issues, and building relationships with program participants.
Applicants from underserved populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications include a degree in computer science or related field, familiarity with core technologies like React.js and Node.js, classroom support experience, and web development background.
Compensation is a competitive hourly rate, with an average of $18,800 for the full program participation.
This position does not include medical, dental, or vision benefits or paid time-off.
Requirements:
Degree in computer science, full stack bootcamp certification, or equivalent experience in software development.
Strong understanding of React.js, Node.js, and foundational database knowledge.
Experience in classroom support, troubleshooting, and web development.
Previous work as a web developer in core technologies is a plus.
Experience in tech nonprofit or startup environments is advantageous.
