Description:

VeilSun is seeking a Web Application Developer to code, implement, and maintain web-based applications.
The role involves developing applications such as project management tools and custom workflows that integrate with data providers via RESTful APIs.
This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the company's success by building applications that connect systems, automate tasks, and support strategic decisions.
The developer will work closely with a team of software engineers, technology architects, project managers, and client success specialists using cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities include participating in scoping technical requirements, writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code, performing unit testing, integrating work into a code repository, maintaining existing applications, participating in code reviews, and gathering requirements.

Requirements:

Candidates must have knowledge and experience with web technologies, specifically JavaScript.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS is required, including the ability to write HTML pages from scratch and integrate custom CSS.
Experience with consuming data via RESTful APIs and managing JSON data is essential, along with an understanding of asynchronous programming in JavaScript.
Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript is required, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience with large datasets or database management is preferred.
Experience building web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js is a plus.
Experience with Mendix and/or Quickbase is highly desirable.
Candidates must provide documentation of their eligibility to work in the United States.
