Description:
Develop full-stack real-time web applications for controlling autonomous aircraft systems, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for tactical military missions.
Collaborate with autonomy engineers to implement production-level software for controlling autonomous UASs.
Utilize state-of-the-art web development technology for commanding unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in military missions.
Design and enhance Full-Stack web applications for controlling robotic autonomy software deployed in military missions.
Support live flight tests of autonomy software on F16s and UAVs.
Work with third-party UAS vendors to integrate EpiSci autonomy software onto UAS hardware or command and control stations.
Collaborate with domain experts and former DoD warfighters to develop software solutions for military missions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field.
3+ years of hands-on experience developing full-stack web GUIs for robotic systems.
Experience in building human-machine interfaces for robotic systems.
Proficiency in frontend applications with data-intensive or map-based systems.
Familiarity with GIS visualization tools and libraries.
Knowledge of frontend technologies like Typescript, JavaScript, Vue, React/Redux, React Native, and Android Java.
Proficiency in backend technologies such as node.js and Python.
Experience/interest in building frontend applications from scratch and integrating them with backend stacks.
Familiarity with Docker and containerized development environments, as well as Windows, Android, and Linux-based operating systems.
Proficiency in using git and Gitlab.
Passion for solving complex problems independently in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative and dynamic setting.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 20% of the time).
Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a U.S. SECRET security clearance.
