Remote Full Stack WordPress Developer

Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack WordPress Developer to join our team in a remote capacity.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in WordPress plugin and PHP development, as well as working with APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• You will be responsible for building new features, solving technical challenges, and maintaining our platform to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
• You must be detail-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Duties include building new features on our platform to create a better experience for our clients, often using a mixture of WordPress plugins, custom PHP code, custom HTML/CSS, and no-code platforms.
• You will fix bugs as they happen, which are normally due to WordPress plugin updates, vendor upgrades, or some technical debt.
• You will work with our support team to fix any issues a member might be having.
• Collaboration with our designer will be necessary to ensure pages and new features look good.
• You will work with the support teams of our 30+ vendors to resolve any bugs.
• You will also collaborate with our infrastructure team on any hosting issues for our platform.
• Regular reporting of progress to your supervisor will be required.

Requirements:

• A B2+ conversational English level is required.
• Clear written communication skills are necessary.
• Experience in WordPress plugin and/or PHP development is essential.
• Experience working with APIs is required, as we have lots of custom code that connects to some of our tools via APIs.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary.
• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB is required.
• Familiarity with using GIT is essential.
• A "can do" attitude when it comes to solving tricky problems is important, as our platform can have some tough bugs to hunt down.
• You need to be detail-oriented, as we aim to always build with excellence.
