Description:
Built Right Digital is a dynamic and innovative digital marketing agency seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Stack WordPress Developer to join their remote team.
The role involves launching and configuring new websites, ensuring smooth deployment, and managing website hosting, security, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving backend issues related to code, plugins, and integrations, as well as maintaining and optimizing databases for performance and reliability.
The developer will configure and manage website servers, set up and manage DNS settings, SSL certificates, and domain configurations, and monitor server health while performing regular maintenance.
The position also requires creating and maintaining Zapier connections between websites, CRMs, and third-party applications, troubleshooting and optimizing automation workflows to improve efficiency.
Providing technical support for website-related issues, identifying and fixing issues affecting website connections to CRMs, email marketing platforms, and third-party tools is essential.
The developer will maintain documentation for processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
The schedule is 20 hours per week between 8am – 5pm CST, with a salary range of $10 - $16 per hour.
Requirements:
Strong experience with WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, and troubleshooting is required.
Knowledge of Shopify, Webflow, or other CMS platforms is preferred but not required.
The candidate must be able to work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for debugging and customization.
Experience with cPanel, Plesk, Cloudflare, and web hosting services is necessary.
Knowledge of Linux server administration and command-line basics is required.
Understanding of DNS, domain transfers, and SSL certificates is essential.
Strong proficiency with Zapier and other automation tools is required.
Experience with API integrations between websites, CRMs, and marketing tools is necessary.
Familiarity with webhooks and data transfer methods is preferred.
The candidate must have experience identifying and resolving WordPress plugin conflicts.
Proficiency in debugging JavaScript, PHP, and API connection issues is required.
The ability to troubleshoot CRM integrations and marketing automation workflows is essential.
