Description:

  • The Full Stack WordPress Developer position is a remote opportunity based in Montreal, Canada.

  • The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of WordPress experience and a high attention to detail.
  • Responsibilities include developing custom WordPress plugins and themes, configuring WordPress websites, debugging plugins, creating documentation, and contributing to the open-source community.
  • The position also involves working with DevOps tools like Docker and collaborating with developers, designers, and project managers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with WordPress.
  • Ability to create WordPress themes and plugins following best practices.
  • Experience building modern WordPress sites using the block editor.
  • Proficiency in using the Linux command line, Git, PHP, SASS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Redmine or JIRA.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Experience with Gutenberg, Elementor, and developing components.
  • Understanding of software development practices and working in a team with a standardized workflow.
  • Bonus skills include creating custom blocks using React, building accessible websites, French communication skills, Drupal experience, and open-source contributions.
