Description:

  • The Fullstack (Backend) NodeJS Developer position is a remote full-time role with a US-based client.
  • The role involves developing and maintaining backend services using NodeJS and other backend languages like Java or Python.
  • Responsibilities include integrating and designing APIs (SOAP and REST) with a focus on security best practices.
  • The candidate will be required to work on complex SQL queries, database management, data extraction, transformation, and normalization.
  • Collaboration with front-end developers and team members is essential to establish objectives and design cohesive code.
  • Implementation of serverless cloud-native development using AWS services like S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloudfront CDN, Cognito, and RDS is a key aspect of the role.
  • Deployment of applications using build pipelines in a CI/CD Agile environment is part of the responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in NodeJS and at least one other backend language (Java/Python) is required for this role.
  • Strong Git skills and experience with version control are necessary.
  • A deep understanding of SOAP and REST API integration, API design, and security best practices is crucial.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in database querying, configuration, data extraction, transformation, and normalization are essential.
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and AWS infrastructure, particularly serverless technologies (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloudfront CDN, Cognito, RDS) is needed.
  • Experience with enterprise automation software for business process workflows (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Sharepoint, SAP) is a requirement.
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Cloud Formation, or boto3 is preferred.
  • Understanding of Linux concepts and CLI commands is necessary.
  • Good networking knowledge in areas such as DNS, SSL, SAML, CIDR, subnet masking, and certificates is expected.
