Description:

  • Digg is building a human-first community network that aims to foster genuine community and discovery on the internet.
  • The company is seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer with strong frontend expertise to take ownership of critical features across their platform.
  • The role involves working on NextJS/React web interfaces, React Native mobile apps, and AWS-powered backend services.
  • Key projects include developing a content moderation system and community administration tools that require sophisticated user interfaces and robust backend processing capabilities.
  • Responsibilities include developing and maintaining high-quality web interfaces, implementing UI components, collaborating with designers, building APIs, developing content moderation pipelines, deploying services on AWS, using GraphQL with React-Query, contributing to shared component libraries, writing clean code, and participating in CI/CD workflows.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have strong experience with TypeScript, React, and NextJS in production environments.
  • Expert-level skills with Tailwind CSS and component-based design systems are required.
  • Experience with GraphQL APIs and data fetching libraries like React-Query is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience with the AWS platform and serverless deployment.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript in backend contexts (Node.js) is required.
  • Experience with Python for data processing and/or API development is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of modern frontend build tools and workflows is expected.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with GitHub Actions and continuous integration processes.
  • Experience implementing designs from Figma with high fidelity is required.
  • The ability to work with shared code packages across web and mobile platforms is necessary.
