Remote Fullstack Developer (Python/Shopify)

Description:

• Oowlish is seeking a Fullstack Developer with expertise in Python and Shopify to join their team in Mendoza, Argentina, with remote work options available.
• The role involves developing and optimizing Shopify API integrations using REST and GraphQL.
• Responsibilities include implementing the Shopify Billing API for managing subscriptions and payments, and utilizing Shopify Webhooks for real-time event processing.
• The developer will build and maintain scalable REST/GraphQL APIs using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Database management and optimization will be required, specifically with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• The position also involves working with third-party Shopify integrations to enhance platform capabilities.
• The developer will leverage AI-driven development tools like GitHub Copilot, Codium, and Continue to improve efficiency.
• Implementing AI-powered solutions using Langchain and LlamaIndex is also part of the job.
• The role includes deploying and managing applications on AWS infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in Python development.
• Proven experience with Shopify APIs, including Admin API, Billing API, and Webhooks, is essential.
• A strong background in building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs is required.
• Experience with backend development using Django, Flask, or FastAPI is necessary.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB is required.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools for coding efficiency, including GitHub Copilot, Codium, and Continue, is a must.
• A passion for AI and automation in software development is expected.
• Familiarity with AWS services for deployment and cloud computing is required.
• Experience with Langchain or LlamaIndex for AI-driven applications is a plus.
• A strong understanding of AI and ML models for automation is desirable.
• A background in e-commerce development beyond Shopify is considered a nice-to-have.
