Remote FullStack Engineer

Description:

• Prometheum is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to join their team remotely on a full-time basis.
• The role involves implementing custody, compliance, operations, and post-trade settlement systems within a NodeJS-based back end architecture.
• The engineer will collaborate with technical leadership and other developers, as well as internal and external parties, to integrate with blockchain systems and APIs.
• The salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in engineering, including both frontend and backend development.
• Extensive experience with NodeJS and common packages and architectures is required.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript for both NodeJS and frontend development is essential to improve type safety and code reliability.
• Experience in designing, maintaining, and expanding APIs via REST is necessary.
• Understanding of GraphQL and building efficient queries/mutations is required.
• Candidates should have experience building tool chain applications, agents, services, and server and client applications in NodeJS or similar technologies.
• A thorough working knowledge of various databases, SQL, and other storage technologies in NodeJS is needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, and Confluence is required.
• A proven track record of developing interfaces with ReactJS and proficiency in front-end languages (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) is necessary.
• Experience with designing and developing microservices-based architectures, especially for complex systems, is required.
• A basic understanding of key design principles, responsive, and adaptive design is necessary.
• Candidates should write clean, tested code and value documenting their work for others.
• Proficient understanding of client-side JavaScript frameworks, including lodash or underscore, is required.
• Good understanding of testing tools like Jest or Mocha is necessary.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them is essential.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, specifically Git, is required.
