Description:

DeepLearning.AI is seeking a Fullstack Developer to build a prototype for a new product focused on college admissions.
The position is remote and open to candidates based in Latin America, within 3 time zones of California (PDT / GMT -7).
The role involves building the front-end of applications with appealing visual design and developing well-functioning databases and applications.
Responsibilities include testing software for responsiveness and efficiency, troubleshooting, debugging, upgrading software, creating security and data protection settings, and building features and applications.
The ideal candidate should be a creative self-starter who can work collaboratively and independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for AI and education.
The position reports to the GM for the new business initiative.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience developing desktop applications from scratch.
Familiarity with common stacks and knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript) is required.
Knowledge of multiple object-oriented languages (e.g., Java, Python) and frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js) is essential.
Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache), and UI/UX design is necessary.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage in in-depth technical discussions with both engineering and business teams are required.
Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Candidates should be self-starters comfortable in an early-stage environment and possess strong project management and organizational skills.
The ability to prototype, build, ship, and iterate quickly on software products is crucial.
