Description:

  • The Fullstack Engineer will play a key role in building the next generation of tools and features for a membership platform focused on live events.
  • The position involves working across the stack using TypeScript, Next.js, Apollo GraphQL, and PostgreSQL to deliver functionality that supports fans, artists, and internal teams.
  • Responsibilities include building and maintaining features, collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams, writing clean and maintainable code, optimizing backend performance, and contributing to CI/CD processes.
  • The engineer will also support internal operations by monitoring infrastructure, resolving issues, and enhancing internal tools as needed, while participating in code reviews and knowledge-sharing across the team.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have solid experience building full-stack applications using TypeScript, Next.js, and Apollo GraphQL.
  • They should be comfortable designing and querying GraphQL APIs, both client and server-side.
  • Strong backend experience with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling is required.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, including ECS, Lambda, RDS, and S3, is necessary.
  • Experience in CI/CD environments and agile development workflows is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for performance and maintainability are important.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
  • Nice to have: experience in a high-demand, live event environment, knowledge of performance testing, and experience with the latest versions of Next.js, including app router and server components, as well as experience working with the OpenAI API or similar LLM services.
