Remote Fullstack Engineer - Marketing Team

Description:

• The Full Stack Engineer on the Marketing Engineering team at Cloudflare will be responsible for building and maintaining systems for the marketing website, blog, and marketing preferences.
• The role involves building Cloudflare Workers deployed on the edge network, Node.js, and Golang services to Kubernetes.
• Responsibilities include optimizing the TypeScript/Gatsby/Astro build system, building Workers in TypeScript, and developing services and tooling in TypeScript, AstroJS, and Golang.
• The engineer will review work from peers, contribute to engineering work on large projects, and collaborate with team members to enhance their work.

Requirements:

• More than 2 years of experience in building and managing high volume software applications; experience with Golang and Typescript is a plus.
• Experience in building, deploying, and operating services.
• Strong bias for action, with a track record of contributing to small teams that deliver results.
• Experience in contributing to build systems for large JavaScript projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on curiosity and empathy.
• Deep understanding of web technologies such as web browsers, HTTP, JavaScript, and the DOM.
