Description:
Granicus is seeking a Fullstack Java Developer to join their GovDelivery team in Bengaluru, focusing on building, implementing, and maintaining technology for the Govtech industry.
The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and building highly scalable distributed systems and services.
The Senior Software Engineer will be a core maintainer of multiple services and will collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to deliver SaaS-based solutions.
The position requires evolving as an expert in various disciplines such as Cloud, Microservices, Platform Engineering, and DevOps.
The candidate will serve as a technical resource and mentor within the broader Granicus technology organization.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have expertise in cloud technologies and developing solutions on the cloud.
Proficiency in Java and related frameworks is essential.
Hands-on experience in developing microservices and deploying them on Kubernetes is required.
Candidates must be proficient in web application development using ReactJS, NodeJS, and related web technologies.
A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in developing, testing, shipping, and supporting production-quality PaaS/SaaS solutions is necessary.
Proficiency in either GoLang or Python is required.
Strong skills in Javascript/Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm are needed.
Experience with AWS Cloud services and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
Candidates should have experience mentoring junior team members and building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
A strong understanding of AWS services, including SES, Pinpoint, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, and DynamoDB, is required.
Full-stack development experience with React, Java, and GoLang/Python is necessary.
Familiarity with Kafka Streams and both NoSQL and SQL databases is a plus.
