Description:

  • Granicus is seeking a Fullstack Ruby Developer to join their GovDelivery team in Bengaluru.
  • The role involves building, implementing, and maintaining technology that transforms the Govtech industry.
  • The Software Engineer 3 will be a key technical resource, mentoring others and supporting application deployment in various environments.
  • Responsibilities include working on cutting-edge technologies, building scalable distributed systems, and collaborating with product management to deliver SaaS solutions.
  • The position requires expertise in cloud technologies, Ruby on Rails, Java, and microservices development, among other skills.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have expert knowledge of cloud technologies and experience developing solutions on the cloud.
  • Proficiency in Ruby & Rails, Java, and related frameworks is required.
  • Hands-on experience in developing microservices and deploying them on Kubernetes is essential.
  • Candidates should be proficient in web application development using ReactJS, NodeJS, and related technologies.
  • A minimum of 4-8 years of experience in developing, testing, and supporting production-quality PaaS/SaaS solutions is necessary.
  • Proficiency in either GoLang or Python, as well as JavaScript/TypeScript, is required.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS Cloud is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience mentoring junior team members and building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, system design, and application scalability skills are required.
  • A passion for learning and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies is necessary.
  • Full-stack development experience with React, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and GoLang/Python is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kafka Streams and both NoSQL and SQL databases is a plus.
