Remote Fullstack Software Engineer

Description:

• The LOGO.com engineering team is seeking Canadian developers to join them in creating logo and brand creation tools for users worldwide.
• The goal is to simplify and make the process of starting a business enjoyable for entrepreneurs.
• Responsibilities include developing and supporting various products like the logo editor, design engine, visual design application, and site builder.
• As a fullstack engineer, you will collaborate with other teams to research, plan, develop, and maintain features.
• Tasks involve shipping new features, participating in code reviews, proposing ideas, maintaining the codebase, and working with the customer support team.

Requirements:

• Must have a personal portfolio or code repository showcasing work.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a software developer.
• Extensive knowledge of Typescript, React, Express, and SQL.
• Experience in building and deploying a fullstack application using platforms like AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, Vercel, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills, self-starter mindset, and effective communication abilities.

Nice to haves:

• Hands-on experience with serverside rendering web applications, especially with multi-language and CMSs on NextJS.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma.
• Experience with SVG as code, image, and file processing.
• Formal education in Computer Science or related field.
