Description:

Stronghold, a Forbes Fintech 50 company, is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join their team in the SF Bay Area.
The role involves architecting, developing, and maintaining the payments API platform and cryptocurrency.
You will collaborate with product management and customer-facing teams to solve challenging customer problems.
The position offers autonomy to design scalable solutions and work on diverse projects using various technologies.
Responsibilities include back-end development, scale, optimization, and driving growth in decentralized finance and payments products.
You will work on developing Stronghold's Platform APIs using languages like Go, .NET, Rust, Node.js, and Python.
Design new platform functionality with corresponding APIs for external developers and assist in solving technical problems.
Collaboration with the engineering team on code review, design, and best practices is essential.

Requirements:

6+ years of software development experience on a team.
Proficiency in languages like Go, .NET, Rust, Node.js, or Python.
Experience in building frontend user interfaces and architecting large single-page web applications using frameworks like React.
Knowledge of building and maintaining APIs open to external developers.
BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with Google Cloud platform, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and other tools.
Understanding of blockchain/distributed ledger technology like Ethereum, Ripple, Stellar, or Solana.
Enthusiasm for working in a small, growing team with autonomy.
Strong communication skills for technical discussions and code reviews.
Generalist programming ability, quick learner, and advocate for simplicity.
Open, empathetic, collaborative, and experience in financial institutions, especially in payments.
