Description:

As a FullStack Software Engineer II, you will contribute to developing high-quality datasets, operating data pipelines, and building services and APIs.
You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to design and launch new product features.
Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining data scrapers and spiders for efficient data collection from online sources.
You will uphold high data quality standards and address performance and scalability concerns while researching best practices in web scraping and data engineering.
In your first week, you will ship new code to production; in your first month, you will write code across several levels of the stack; within six months, you will take ownership of features; and by your first year, you will help guide technical decisions impacting the company.
Requirements:
You must have 3+ years of work experience in a software-producing company.
Professional experience in JavaScript and front-end technologies like React is required.
You should have experience writing application code in backend languages such as Python, .Net, Java, Go, or Node.js.
Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle is necessary.
You should be familiar with SQL queries and Object Relational Mapping frameworks like Django.
A strong desire to mentor others through code review is essential.
You must care about code quality and have the drive to develop technical skills.
An interest in learning new development languages and platforms is expected.
You should be a highly-motivated self-starter eager to contribute from day one.
You must be an engaged learner, willing to tackle challenging problems.
A desire to work in a fun environment and contribute to team dynamics is important.
You should be ready to assist in various areas, including recruiting and customer support.
