Remote Fullstack Software Engineer - SaaS (Remote - US)

Description:

• Firstup is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to improve the employee experience by delivering innovative solutions and services.
• The role involves building scalable SaaS applications, writing high-quality code, and collaborating with teams to solve complex problems.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining large-scale multi-tenant services in the cloud, designing future-ready solutions, and advocating for software performance and efficiency.
• The Software Engineer will work with Ruby, TypeScript, or JavaScript frameworks, and have proficiency in front-end, back-end, and database development.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, AWS, ML, AI, and enterprise SaaS organizations is preferred.
• The position offers a base salary between $130,000-$150,000 per year.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of experience building reliable and performant microservices.
• Proficiency in at least one software engineering topic (networking, security, serverless, event streams, etc.).
• Experience with Ruby, TypeScript, or JavaScript frameworks, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, AWS, ML, AI, and enterprise SaaS organizations preferred.
• Open-source contributions and history of side-projects preferred.
