Description:
The Fullstack Software Engineer will be responsible for developing both frontend and backend systems for Hopper's travel technology, specifically focusing on the Disruption and Insurance category within the fintech portfolio.
The role involves planning, coding, reviewing, and improving code for upcoming projects.
The engineer will need to stay updated on new technical concepts and services that add value to the team.
Regular meetings will be held to discuss ongoing projects and plan upcoming sprints.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of full-time experience working on web applications in a professional setting.
Proficiency in full-stack development with a strong emphasis on front-end skills.
Expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern front-end libraries.
Proficient in Scala or other JVM languages like Kotlin or Java, with demonstrated production experience.
Dedication to enhancing system quality and reliability through excellent software engineering practices.
Professional background in the travel or fintech industries with an understanding of their specific challenges and requirements.
