Remote Functional Data Analyst

Description:

• The company ALTER SOLUTIONS is seeking a Functional Data Analyst to work with a client in the energy sector.
• The role involves managing data for both Downstream and Upstream activities, with a focus on Forecasting.
• Responsibilities include writing functional specifications, developing and executing test cases, serving as a liaison between business and IT teams, and ensuring timely deliveries.
• The project supports and secures business processes related to confirmed sales positions in gas and power markets.
• The position is based in Brussels but may involve work in various European countries.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Data Management is required.
• Knowledge of the energy market industry is necessary.
• Technical expertise in SQL and Python is essential.
• Experience with API development and cloud environments (AWS) is required.
• Familiarity with tools like Databricks, PySpark, Insomnia, and Postman is needed.
• Experience in functional database design and data warehousing is a must.
• Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of French is a strong plus.
