Description:

DigitalFish is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in C++ to help build next-generation technologies for digital media creation and consumption.
The role involves applying principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to design, develop, test, and evaluate software and systems.
Responsibilities include reviewing and approving modifications of existing databases, instructing staff on database descriptions, directing database development, and reviewing project requests to estimate time and cost.
The engineer will also plan and implement security measures to safeguard information, supervise the installation and testing of new products, and develop standards for software use and acquisition.

Requirements:

A BSc degree in Computer Science or related fields is required.
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience coding in languages such as C/C++ and designing code for efficiency across different platforms like GPU and Cloud.
Knowledge of computer development software related to systems, such as SQL and VisualBasic, is necessary.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills are essential.
The ability to work independently and manage time effectively is required.
Strong mentoring skills to provide support and constructive feedback are necessary.
Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from analysis to delivery.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is mandatory.

The annual compensation includes equity based on qualifications.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $155,000, plus equity.
