Remote [GAC] Senior Test Automation Engineer (C# + Selenium)

Description:

• Software Mind is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join their product development teams in Kraków, Poland, with the option for remote work.
• The client’s mission is to help organizations optimize software availability, compliance, and cost savings through Software Asset Management solutions.
• The role involves improving agile testing, nurturing top quality, and hands-on system testing.
• The engineer will propose and adapt the best fitting test automation framework (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber) to meet the team's needs.
• Responsibilities include performing exploratory testing, identifying test cases, implementing automated testing, and integrating QA best practices into development and release processes.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4-5 years of technical experience in test automation frameworks, including Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber, or Selenide.
• Experience testing on a cloud platform is required.
• The ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests is essential.
• Candidates should be able to define and lead an appropriate end-to-end testing approach.
• Proficiency in writing code in C# is necessary, with Java experience considered a plus.
• A system thinking and critical mindset is expected.
• Experience in setting up and using virtual test environments or Docker containers is required.
• Candidates should have experience with database testing and creating test infrastructure for backend testing.
• Familiarity with configuring and supporting CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
• Experience working in a Scrum/KANBAN agile environment is required.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are essential.
• Candidates should have the ability to identify problems and drive improvements.
