Description:
Wargaming is seeking a proactive, excited, and determined Game Data Analyst to join the World of Tanks product analytics team.
The role involves collecting and analyzing various types of player behavior data, including economic, financial, and combat data, as well as interface telemetry.
The Game Data Analyst will collaborate with the WoT Product Team, the Data Warehouse team, and a global network of 60 analysts.
Responsibilities include delivering analytical insights for decision-making, using quantitative analysis to identify growth opportunities, and participating in analytical maintenance for game features and events.
The analyst will engage in pre-production analytics, production analytics, and operation analytics, which involve modeling outcomes, developing reports, and creating analytical tools and dashboards.
The role also requires gathering requirements from various stakeholders and presenting research results to enhance the product analytics knowledge base.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
A strong understanding of formalizing business tasks in research plans and experience in writing analytical reports is required.
Advanced SQL knowledge is essential.
Experience with at least one data visualization tool, such as Tableau, Qlik, or Microsoft Power BI, is necessary.
Proficiency in Python or R and familiarity with popular libraries for data processing and analysis is required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, are needed, especially for conveying information to a non-technical audience.
Candidates must have written and spoken English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
