AMC Studio is seeking an Advanced Software Developer to join their team.
The role involves designing, implementing, and debugging game features.
The developer will work on game toolsets and pipelines.
Responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing runtimes.

The developer will build solid relationships with programming peers in-house and globally.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of professional experience.
Advanced programming skills in C++ with a strong understanding of the fundamentals are required.
Solid programming skills in C# with a strong understanding of the fundamentals are necessary.
A deeper understanding of what the code is doing, not just that it works, is emphasized.
Experience with game engines, primarily Unreal Engine, is essential.
Candidates should have experience working in large codebases.
Understanding how to analyze and optimize code is required.
Strong problem-solving skills are necessary.
Candidates must be comfortable with vector and matrix math and good with algorithms.
Understanding various design patterns and their benefits/drawbacks is required.
Experience with console development (PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch, etc.) is necessary.
Candidates should have shipped game(s).
Experience with mobile development is required.
Experience working directly with external clients is necessary.
