Description:
- The Gigster Talent Network is seeking a highly skilled Python Back-End Developer to join their team.
- The developer will work on creating a lightweight version of an LMS platform for training modules, leveraging Django or Laravel.
- The role involves a 3-week scoping phase followed by approximately 10 weeks of development.
- Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend systems, writing clean and maintainable code, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance, and collaborating with product managers and designers.
- The position requires experience with LMS or CMS platforms, proficiency in Django, and knowledge of database systems, cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and version control systems.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining backend systems.
- Proficiency in Django.
- Experience working with LMS or CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, version control systems like Git, and collaborative development workflows.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
