Description:
Devtech is seeking a Golang Developer to join their Global Services Unit in a remote, full-time position.
The role involves all aspects of ongoing software development, from initial specification to development, testing, and launching.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining software solutions using Golang, designing and implementing web applications, APIs, and microservices.
The developer will utilize SQL databases for data storage and retrieval and deploy applications to cloud platforms.
Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, debugging and troubleshooting issues promptly, and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality are also key tasks.
The position emphasizes active participation in company-wide knowledge-sharing efforts and promoting a culture of security, quality, and knowledge-sharing.
Requirements:
Candidates must have proven experience in Golang development.
Strong skills in developing asynchronous web applications, handling HTTP/Websockets, API design, and cloud deployment are required.
Expertise in working with SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL is necessary.
Experience in developing applications on AWS, particularly using ECS and RDS services, is essential.
Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is expected.
Proficiency in using Git for version control, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and writing unit and integration tests is required.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills are necessary.
Candidates should have experience in conducting effective code reviews.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
