We have an opportunity for a Golang Engineer to join our team in a long-term contract role.
In this role, you will focus on building and enhancing backend systems to support internal tools and services for a well-known industry leader.

The hourly compensation for this opportunity ranges from $55-$65/hr.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs using Go, building and enhancing automation workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, leveraging cloud services, and writing clean, maintainable code.

Requirements:

You must reside within the continental US while working.
This role is W-2-only and it is a fully remote, long-term contract opportunity (no C2C).
We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
You must work standard Eastern Time business hours and be exclusively dedicated to this role (no other simultaneous job engagements are permitted).
You should have 3-5 years of hands-on professional experience in backend development, with a focus on Go (Golang).
Proficiency with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is required.
You must have proficiency with Kubernetes, including deploying and maintaining containerized applications in production environments.
Experience in backend development for APIs and automation workflows is necessary.
You should have experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions.
The ability to work independently at a mid-senior level, demonstrating proactivity and comfort in navigating ambiguity, is essential.
Outstanding communication skills are required, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team environment.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
