Description:
Telnyx is seeking a GPT Automation Engineer who will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying conversational AI models using Open AI's GPT architecture and other open-source alternatives.
The engineer will collaborate with colleagues to enhance their abilities and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth.
This role requires a keen attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.
The engineer will work on automation of internal and external applications to empower colleagues and customers, utilizing both back-end and front-end technologies.
Joining the GPT-Eng team, the engineer will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects such as chat-bots, embeddings, and plugins that can make a difference globally.
Requirements:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
Proactive communicator who can work both independently and in a team environment.
Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, documenting learning for the benefit of others.
Attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering practices, including version control and code review.
Experience deploying to the cloud using technologies like Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in API development using Express with Javascript.
Familiarity with frontend development using React with Javascript.
