Remote GPT Automation Engineer

Description:

• Telnyx is seeking a GPT Automation Engineer who will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying conversational AI models using Open AI's GPT architecture and other open-source alternatives.
• The engineer will collaborate with colleagues to enhance their abilities and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• This role requires a keen attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.
• The engineer will work on automation of internal and external applications to empower colleagues and customers, utilizing both back-end and front-end technologies.
• Joining the GPT-Eng team, the engineer will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects such as chat-bots, embeddings, and plugins that can make a difference globally.

Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
• Proactive communicator who can work both independently and in a team environment.
• Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, documenting learning for the benefit of others.
• Attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering practices, including version control and code review.
• Experience deploying to the cloud using technologies like Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in API development using Express with Javascript.
• Familiarity with frontend development using React with Javascript.
