• Grupo QuintoAndar is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team.
• The role involves combining Software Engineering and Data Science disciplines to create production-ready Machine Learning models.
• Responsibilities include integrating engineering services and systems with ML services, developing frameworks and platforms for ML-based services, and collaborating with various teams throughout the modeling pipeline.
• The position also involves assuring the health and quality of ML services, fostering best practices for infrastructure and coding, contributing to the vision and architecture of ML solutions, and managing technical debt.
• The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for architecting, developing, and deploying ML systems to production, focusing on chatbots and search use cases.
• They will design and execute experiments, analyze various types of data, and actively participate in discussions and decisions within the Data Science chapter.

Requirements:

• Solid software engineering skills are required for this position.
• A strong background in Machine Learning is essential.
• Understanding of modeling pipelines and challenges for ML services is necessary.
• Good cloud-based infrastructure skills are needed.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs is a requirement.
• Passion for technical challenges, humility, curiosity, and a keen interest in learning are important qualities.
• The ability to handle changes in a fast-paced environment, good communication, and teamwork skills are necessary.
• Orientation towards business value is a key requirement.
• Having experience in productionizing ML models, strong Python skills, Java experience, Spark, MLOps tools and libraries, Real Estate market experience, and a relevant technical degree (MSc. or PhD) are all beneficial.
