Description:

• The Sr Machine Learning Engineer at QuintoAndar will be responsible for combining Software Engineering and Data Science disciplines to create production-ready Machine Learning models.
• They will integrate engineering services and systems with ML services, develop frameworks and platforms for building, deploying, serving, and monitoring ML-based services.
• Collaboration with Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists throughout the modeling pipeline is essential.
• Responsibilities include assuring the health and quality of ML services, fostering best practices for infrastructure and coding, contributing to scaling ML solutions, managing technical debt, and bridging technical dependencies.
• The role involves problem contextualization, solution scope, product discovery, design, and implementation of ML-based products and/or the ML Platform.

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering and python skills are required.
• A solid background in Machine Learning is necessary.
• Proven experience in productionizing ML models, deploying, and maintaining ML services is essential.
• Good cloud-based infrastructure skills are a must.
• Experience with MLOps tools and libraries like MLflow, Kubeflow, AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, etc., is needed.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs is required.
• Experience with tough technical challenges is expected.
• Desired qualities include humility, curiosity, interest in learning, adaptability to changes, good communication, teamwork skills, and orientation to business value.
• Preferred qualifications include an MSc. or PhD in relevant technical fields, experience with Deep Learning models, LLMs, NLP, chatbots, working on an ML Platform team, Spark, and Real Estate market experience.
