Description:
We are seeking a Haskell engineer who has familiarity with Rust to help integrate Ethereum and the Rust Ethereum client (reth) into our Chainweb blockchain architecture.
The role will involve integrating the two environments, assessing areas of difficulty, proposing solutions, and developing an efficient and capable union of the two technologies.
This position will report directly to our Engineering Manager, with opportunities for growth within the role and the company.
Responsibilities include evaluating and writing Haskell code in Chainweb to integrate with reth, and evaluating and writing Rust code to assist with the integration.
The role requires understanding the Chainweb blockchain architecture and the implications of incorporating Ethereum’s technology stack within it.
You will work on cross-chain transactions between Pact and Ethereum chains and explore the possibilities of running an Ethereum side-chain as an L2 clearing to the main Ethereum blockchain.
Requirements:
Candidates must be self-motivated and comfortable with remote work.
You should be able to comprehend and solve difficult problems at the right level of abstraction.
A strong knowledge of existing technologies is required, or the ability to research and learn what is needed.

Benefits:
This role has an annual starting salary range of $180,000 - $240,000, with actual compensation influenced by individual skills and experience.
