Remote Haskell/Rust Software Engineer

Description:

• We are seeking a Haskell engineer who has familiarity with Rust to help integrate Ethereum and the Rust Ethereum client (reth) into our Chainweb blockchain architecture.
• The role will involve integrating the two environments, assessing areas of difficulty, proposing solutions, and developing an efficient and capable union of the two technologies.
• This position will report directly to our Engineering Manager, with opportunities for growth within the role and company.
• Responsibilities include evaluating and writing Haskell code in Chainweb to integrate with reth, and evaluating and writing Rust code to assist with the integration.
• The engineer will need to understand the Chainweb blockchain architecture and the implications of incorporating Ethereum’s technology stack.
• The role will also involve working on cross-chain transactions between Pact and Ethereum chains and exploring the possibilities of running an Ethereum side-chain as an L2 clearing to the main Ethereum blockchain.

• The ability to comprehend and solve difficult problems at the right level of abstraction is essential.
