Description:
We are seeking a Haskell engineer who has familiarity with Rust to help integrate Ethereum and the Rust Ethereum client (reth) into our Chainweb blockchain architecture.
The role will involve integrating the two environments, assessing areas of difficulty, proposing solutions, and developing an efficient and capable union of the two technologies.
This position will report directly to our Engineering Manager, with opportunities for growth within the role and company.
Responsibilities include evaluating and writing Haskell code in Chainweb to integrate with reth, and evaluating and writing Rust code to assist with the integration.
The engineer will need to understand the Chainweb blockchain architecture and the implications of incorporating Ethereum’s technology stack.
The role will also involve working on cross-chain transactions between Pact and Ethereum chains and exploring the possibilities of running an Ethereum side-chain as an L2 clearing to the main Ethereum blockchain.
Requirements:
Candidates must be self-motivated and comfortable with remote work.
The ability to comprehend and solve difficult problems at the right level of abstraction is essential.
Candidates should be knowledgeable about existing technologies or be able to research and learn what is needed.
