Description:
Builder.io is seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Developer Relations to lead efforts in engaging and growing the developer community.
The role involves being the bridge between the product team and the developer community, inspiring, educating, and empowering developers through high-quality content.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy focusing on AI and frontend development, overseeing the production of blog posts, videos, and social media content, and collaborating with the marketing team.
The Head of DevRel will build and lead a high-performing team, set clear goals and KPIs, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Community engagement is crucial, including planning workshops and speaking engagements, and representing Builder.io at industry events.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or similar roles, preferably in a B2B SaaS company.
A minimum of 2 years of experience leading a DevRel team is required.
A strong technical background with hands-on experience in frontend development, particularly with React, is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, with a talent for explaining complex technical concepts.
A proven track record of creating engaging technical content that drives developer adoption is required.
Experience in presenting at technical events, workshops, and conferences is important.
Understanding of AI and its applications in developer tools is a plus.
Candidates should be able to analyze metrics and data to measure the impact of content initiatives.
A passion for developer tools and staying current with industry trends is expected.
