Description:

  • HeadQuarters is a global start-up that partners with US cannabis companies to provide support in finance, sales operations, logistics, and digital marketing.
  • The company is seeking an experienced HR and Finance Data Analyst to support one of their long-term clients.
  • The role involves driving data-based decision-making and providing insights to optimize HR processes and initiatives.
  • Working hours are from 9 am to 5 pm PST (6 pm to 2 am Serbian time zone).
  • Key responsibilities include analyzing HR-related data, performing financial analysis and reporting, building data models and visualizations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, improving processes and automation, and providing ad-hoc analysis and strategic insights.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CFA, SHRM) are a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR data analysis, financial analysis, or data analytics roles is required, ideally with experience supporting both HR and finance functions.
  • A strong understanding of financial statements, compensation analysis, workforce planning, and HR metrics is necessary.
  • Proven experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis with an understanding of HR-related costs is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling) is required.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is necessary.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SuccessFactors) and financial software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
  • Strong SQL skills or experience with data querying and manipulation is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex HR and financial data and present actionable insights, are required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally, are essential.
