Description:
HeadQuarters is a global start-up that partners with US cannabis companies to provide support in finance, sales operations, logistics, and digital marketing.
The company is seeking an experienced HR and Finance Data Analyst to support one of their long-term clients.
The role involves driving data-based decision-making and providing insights to optimize HR processes and initiatives.
Working hours are from 9 am to 5 pm PST (6 pm to 2 am Serbian time zone).
Key responsibilities include analyzing HR-related data, performing financial analysis and reporting, building data models and visualizations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, improving processes and automation, and providing ad-hoc analysis and strategic insights.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CFA, SHRM) are a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR data analysis, financial analysis, or data analytics roles is required, ideally with experience supporting both HR and finance functions.
A strong understanding of financial statements, compensation analysis, workforce planning, and HR metrics is necessary.
Proven experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis with an understanding of HR-related costs is essential.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling) is required.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is necessary.
Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SuccessFactors) and financial software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
Strong SQL skills or experience with data querying and manipulation is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex HR and financial data and present actionable insights, are required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally, are essential.
