Description:

  • Employment Hero is seeking a Team Lead for their HR & Payroll Implementations team.
  • This role involves supporting, mentoring, and driving excellence within the team while managing a portfolio of clients.
  • The Team Lead will combine delivery responsibilities with team leadership in a player-coach capacity.
  • Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring Implementation Consultants, acting as a point of escalation for complex client scenarios, and managing implementation projects.
  • The role requires designing, developing, and delivering Payroll and HR implementation content based on best practices.
  • The Team Lead will educate clients on effectively using the Employment Hero platform and troubleshoot issues during the setup process.
  • Collaboration with other CX teams is essential to ensure seamless handovers post-implementation.
  • The position also involves driving process improvements, monitoring team performance, and supporting new starters to maintain high onboarding standards.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in client-facing training, HR/payroll implementation, or onboarding, with at least 1-2 years in a mentoring or team leadership role.
  • A strong understanding of UK legislative payroll requirements is necessary.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training content, including virtual workshops, is required.
  • A collaborative and pragmatic leadership approach is essential, with a focus on helping others succeed.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are mandatory.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously is required.
  • Experience in improving processes and delivering operational efficiencies is necessary.
  • Confidence in using project management systems, time tracking, and CRMs to ensure data integrity is essential.
