Description:

Tecsys is seeking an Information Security and Compliance Intern for the Fall 2024 semester.
The intern will assist in developing and implementing security policies and documentation.
Responsibilities include supporting the governance, risk, and compliance team in ensuring adherence to security standards and regulations.
The intern will coordinate and document security tasks for comprehensive risk management and contribute to compliance status analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems Security (Cybersecurity) or a law degree with relevant work experience in governance, risk, and compliance.
Passion for Cybersecurity Governance and Compliance.
Knowledge of Security Standards, Regulations, Policy Development, and Risk Assessment.
Familiarity with IP networking, Linux, Mac, Windows operating systems, mobile devices, and IT application landscape.
Understanding of public cloud IaaS environments, SaaS solutions, Threats, Vulnerabilities, and IT Networking Fundamentals.
Strong proficiency in written and verbal English communication for effective correspondence.

Participation in a lean security governance team's activities.
Learning fundamentals of governance, risk, and compliance in a cybersecurity context.
