Description:
The Security Architect at EVOTEK will be responsible for designing, reviewing, implementing, and testing security systems within client IT infrastructure.
They will review the current security posture, identify weaknesses, and respond to security concerns and breaches promptly.
The role involves advising clients on security matters, offering guidance on security concepts and best practices, and potentially leading security initiatives.
The Security Architect must stay updated on current and emerging security concepts, attacks, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
Additional responsibilities include sharing concerns and guidance with clients and team members, designing secure architectural solutions, assessing security risks, and contributing to strategic planning.
They will work closely with client teams to select security tools and solutions based on industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in Technology and Cybersecurity.
5+ years of experience in security architecture.
Deep expertise in infrastructure or application security.
Familiarity with security in the non-primary area.
Experience with security best practice frameworks and controls like NIST CSF, CIS Controls, HITRUST CSF, etc.
Knowledge of architectural methodologies and frameworks such as SABSA, TOGAF, Zachman is a plus.
Ability to work within different project management models like Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid.
Familiarity with security compliance requirements like GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI, etc.
Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps concepts and frameworks.
Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and teaching skills.
Excellent documentation skills including architectural diagrams, network diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and security policy documentation.
