The position is for an Information Security Engineer, available for remote work worldwide.
The role involves implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security measures to protect systems, applications, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities include collaborating with project teams to ensure secure workflows and developing technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in security, a hands-on approach, and a passion for continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices.
Key accountabilities include engineering, implementing, and monitoring security measures for applications, infrastructure, and networks, including WAF, DDoS, DNS, VPN, and other security tools.
The engineer will work with project teams to build secure workflows and processes for the company’s services.
The role requires developing and enforcing security standards, best practices, and protocols across the organization.
Conducting internal and external security tests/audits on systems, applications, and infrastructure is also a key responsibility.
The engineer will write detailed reports on security assessments, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
Providing support and guidance to team members on security, software, hardware, or infrastructure-related issues is expected.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience as a Security Engineer or in a relevant position.
Proficiency in basic coding skills such as HTML, CSS, Shell Script, Python, or similar languages is required.
In-depth knowledge of database and operating system security is essential.
The ability to identify and resolve web-based security vulnerabilities, including the OWASP Top 10 and beyond, is necessary.
Familiarity with authentication technologies, including OAuth, SAML, and OTP/TOTP, is required.
Experience with standard web application security tools, such as BurpSuite and Arachni, is expected.
A strong understanding of network security technologies and security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software, is essential.
Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
