Description:
The Information Security Senior Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring information security policies.
They will conduct risk assessments, security audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities.
Monitoring and analyzing security systems and event logs to detect suspicious activity or security breaches will be part of their tasks.
The candidate will also manage and respond to security incidents, provide security awareness training, and stay updated on cybersecurity threats.
Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure security at all phases of systems development and implementation is essential.
They will participate in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans and provide technical guidance to the information security team.
Additionally, preparing detailed reports on the status of information security for senior management will be required.
Requirements:
Relevant experience in information security/cybersecurity in the public or private sector.
A degree in a field related to security, information security, intelligence, or computer science.
Industry certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC are desired.
Understanding of the cyber threat landscape, key cybersecurity concepts, and familiarity with security tools like CrowdStrike.
Ability to communicate effectively at senior levels, explain technical concepts in non-technical terms, and articulate security risks to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in consulting, IT, technology, or cybersecurity, especially within the financial industry, is preferred.
Good knowledge of IT and network infrastructure, ability to see security from an attacker's perspective, and strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Professional working fluency in English, organizational skills, ability to work independently, and handle multiple tasks under pressure are required.
