Remote Infra/DevOps Engineer

• As an Infra/DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the foundation that supports our entire tech stack.
• This role offers the opportunity to design, implement, and scale the infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring our platform is reliable, secure, and efficient as we grow.
• You will architect the infrastructure by designing and implementing the core infrastructure that powers our platform, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• You will automate everything by developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, testing, and monitoring, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of new features.
• You will ensure security and compliance by implementing security best practices and compliance measures to protect our data and infrastructure from potential threats.
• You will monitor and optimize by setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and operational issues.
• You will scale the platform by planning and executing strategies to scale our infrastructure in line with user growth, ensuring performance remains optimal under increasing load.
• You will collaborate with engineering by working closely with software engineers to ensure that the infrastructure supports their needs and integrates seamlessly with the application stack.
• You will lead by example by establishing and maintaining infrastructure best practices, mentoring junior team members, and leading technical discussions as the team grows.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related role, with a proven track record of building and scaling cloud infrastructure.
• You need deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing services at scale.
• You should possess strong skills in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• You must have experience implementing security best practices, including managing firewalls, encryption, and identity and access management (IAM).
• You should be proficient in setting up and managing monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
• You need excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security in a startup environment.
• You should have strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with developers and other stakeholders.
• You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with the ability to pivot as needed.
