Remote Infrastructure and Security Lead

Description:

• The Ticketing Co. is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain resilient systems for their feature-rich ticketing platform.
• The role involves overseeing the entire company infrastructure, including database management, and ensuring optimization, performance, and data integrity across all systems.
• Responsibilities also include maintaining website uptime, implementing robust security measures, and continuously improving infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in server infrastructure, security best practices, PostgreSQL, Node.js, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Requirements:

• Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
• Expertise in server infrastructure, preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform, is essential.
• A deep understanding of security best practices and implementation is a must.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and fluency in Node.js (in TypeScript) are necessary.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Pulumi, is preferred.
• Bonus skills include knowledge of React and React Native.
