Description:

The Infrastructure Engineer will lead the development and maintenance of scalable AWS infrastructure.
This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of systems supporting healthcare SaaS solutions.
The ideal candidate will shape infrastructure strategy while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities include architecting and managing AWS infrastructure, building for scalability, collaborating with teams, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and enhancing automation.

Requirements:

A C1 English level is required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in similar roles.
Proven hands-on experience with AWS ECS, RDS, and a broad suite of AWS services is essential.
Strong knowledge of Docker, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is necessary.
Familiarity with HIPAA/HITRUST compliance and secure system practices is a plus.
A genuine passion for contributing to healthcare-related solutions and improving patient outcomes is desired.
Candidates should possess a proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

The position offers the flexibility to work from any corner of LATAM.
It is a full-time independent contractor role with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, with 2-3 hours of buffer/flexibility.
