Description:

Hudl’s Front-End Platform team is looking for an experienced Engineer with deep front-end expertise to expand the platform.
The role involves developing and expanding Hudl’s front-end platform to ensure it is robust, performant, maintainable, scalable, accessible, and secure.
Responsibilities include building infrastructure using AWS and Terraform, setting up a CDN for Jamstack apps, and maintaining server-side rendering infrastructure.
The Engineer will serve as a consultant, supporting teams with front-end work by answering questions, reviewing pull requests, and participating in design reviews.
The position is open to candidates near the London office or remote candidates in the UK.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience developing front-ends with TypeScript and React, and have played a key role in developing large-scale web applications.
Strong knowledge of design systems is required to ensure a consistent and accessible user experience.
Candidates should have strong AWS and Terraform experience to mentor the team in expanding its Jamstack environment and server-side rendering infrastructure.
Effective communication skills are essential for sharing ideas clearly in meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
