Description:
Swan is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their team, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS.
The role emphasizes automation and DevOps best practices, requiring deep experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and system reliability.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions that ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
The engineer will write clean, efficient, and well-documented infrastructure code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to design and integrate infrastructure solutions that support software development and deployment.
The role involves working closely with external stakeholders to understand requirements, conduct system testing, and implement necessary improvements.
Responsibilities also include optimizing system performance, monitoring infrastructure health, and ensuring robust operations, as well as debugging and troubleshooting system issues.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or cloud architecture.
Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and networking is necessary.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is required.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages are essential.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins, is required.
Candidates should have strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.
Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.
